Release Candidate (7.0)
64-bit Release Candidate 7.0 download
The 7.0 Release Candidate version of the BigRingVR App (64-bit) is now available. Please read the following carefully.
Since this is a 64-bit version, ensure that your operating system is also 64-bit. Most modern computers (running Windows 10/11) use a 64-bit OS, but some older machines may still run on 32-bit versions.
To confirm whether your Windows system is 32-bit or 64-bit, go to Start > Settings > System > About. Under Device specifications, check the System type field, which will indicate if your system is 32-bit or 64-bit. Read more here.
To check if your MacOS is 64-bit, please read here.
Once you confirmed that you have 64-bit OS, please download Windows version or Mac version.
Please read our Strava or Facebook posts to find more information about 64-bit version 7.0.
Setup
Installing
Download BigRingVR installer and double click downloaded file to begin installation, follow the instructions of the installer to complete installation.
ANT+ USB Stick on Windows
To use BigRingVR with ANT+ sensors, you will need to use an ANT+ USB stick (e.g. Garmin). Please note that Cycplus dongle will not work with BigRingVR because it does not support the complete ANT standard.
If you have already used this ANT+ stick with other programs, like Zwift or Trainerroad you already have the right driver installed for this USB ANT+ stick.
To install the driver, simply insert the stick into a USB port on your computer. After a few seconds, Windows 10 will start to download and install the driver for your device. Wait for this to complete before continuing.
Unlike Windows 10, Windows 11 does not automatically install proper ANT+ drivers. You can find and install Windows 11 drivers here.
When opening Control Panel -> Device Manager
you will see the device listed.
