 Grossglockner (South side, Part 1)   

This is the first part of the south side of the Grossglockner, or Hochtor as is the official name of the climb. Going up the Mölltal along the Möll river, originating at the Pasterze Glacier at the foot of the Grossglockner, the highest mountain in Austria. Mölltal separates the mountains of the Schober Group in the west from the Goldberg Group in the east. This ride starts with a short climb to Winklern, before a long, mostely, false-flat in the direction of Heiligenblut. There the hard second part of the south side of the Hochtor starts.
