Col de Spandelles
Col de Spandelles is a relatively unknown climb in the High Pyrenees region. It runs parallel to - and is overshadowed by the Col du Soulor (which itself is overshadowed by the Aubisque!). The climb from Ferrieres is the more challenging side of the Spandelles by some distance; the gradients rarely drop below 8% and there are several significant pitches in double figures. This is a tough test, particularly if you choose to tackle it after riding the Aubisque.
