Adige Valley

 Adige Valley

The Adige Valley is a scenic alpine valley in northern Italy, running along the Adige River. It stretches from the Resia Pass in the northwest down through the provinces of South Tyrol and Trentino, ultimately reaching Verona to the south. The valley offers panoramic views of the Dolomites and vineyards. It is famous for apple orchards and wineries producing high-quality wines like Pinot Grigio and Gewürztraminer. The Adige Valley Cycle Route is one of Italy’s longest and most beautiful bike paths. It runs from Resia Pass near the Austrian border, passing through Bolzano, Trento, and eventually to Verona—about 300 km in total. The path is mostly flat or downhill, following the river, making it accessible for cyclists of all levels.
