Montana Carbon (West side)
Montaña Carbon is a volcanic mountain in Fuerteventura, located in the central part of the island, near the municipalities of Antigua and Tuineje. This area is characterized by its arid, rocky landscapes and gentle, rolling hills. Montaña Carbon is part of the island’s unique geological formations, offering scenic views of the surrounding plains and distant mountains. It lies relatively close to the FV-30 road, which passes through several beautiful villages like Toto and Tuineje, making it a point of interest for those cycling or hiking around the region. Montaña Carbon is located on the southern outskirts of Fuerteventura’s second highest mountain range, the Betancuria Range. With its 606m it is quite tall for Fuerteventura conditions and thanks to its location it is considered one of the best lookout peaks of the island.
